Calling all volunteers! This year, the success of the Hearts and Hands event depends on you and your peers. We would like everyone to get involved to help ASHES raise money for the Catch A Falling Star organization. Located in the heart of St. Louis, the mission of CAFS is to “strengthen the physical and social skills of children with disabilities while promoting inclusion in everyday living.” The organization provides recreational and social activities for kids with autism and other social, mental, and behavioral challenges. CAFS’ programs and activities are open for children 2-14 years of age.Watch this video to learn more about Autism, a disease that affects the children this great organization supports!
How can you help? ASHES wants you to take charge and involve your whole department in raising money for this charity. Place a can (see the picture below) in a central location and encourage your peers to donate for this worthy cause. Bing a check made out to “Catch A Falling Star” for the total amount you were able to raise to the Annual Conference in September. At the conference, we hope your generosity really shines. ASHES will be collecting a dollar from all participants at the welcome reception and registration booth. During the awards dinner, ASHES will present Catch A Falling Star with a check for the amount raised.
