Afterburner: The Flawless Execution Experts Afterburners will present on Monday, September 8, 2008.  Afterburners is a group of 50 male and female Fighter Pilots who train leaders to use Flawless Execution tools and techniques. William A. Rutala, Ph.D., M.P.H.  Rutala is a professor for the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of North Carolina's School of Medicine, and serves as the director of Hospital Epidemiology, Occupational Health and Safety Program at the University of North Carolina Health Care System.  Rutala will present on Thursday, September 11, 2008.  Rutala will facilitate an in-depth session focusing on the biology of C. difficile, the diseases associated with it, its transmission route, prevalence on environmental surfaces, preventative approaches in healthcare settings and treatment of C. diff - associated disease.
