CHESP Exam Information

Important: Special Exam Administration At Conference CANCELLED

A special administration at the conference site will not take place this year. However, you can still earn  the CHESP credential during ASHES Annual Conference by following the instructions below.

To apply:

  • Complete the application form at the Candidate Handbook . Under “Examination Type” mark "I am applying for a computer administration at an AMP Assessment Center". 
  • Sign your application.
  • Mail your completed application with the required exam fee to:

  • Payment may be made by credit card, company check, cashier’s check, or money order payable to AMP. No cash or personal checks.
  • If paying by credit card, you may fax your completed application to 913-895-4651. Remember to sign the application.
  • AMP will be in touch for next steps - including scheduling the test in a location near you or at Reno during the ASHES Annual Conference.

CHESP Review Session
A Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) review session will be offered during the conference. Conference attendees may register for the review session online or by selecting it on this postcard (cost includes the CHESP Review Guide). Registration for the CHESP Review Session IS NOT a registration for the CHESP Exam. CHESP Examination application is a separate registration and payment.

CHESP Scholarships
ASHES is pleased to offer Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) scholarships to assist ASHES members who desire to become certified. The Scholarship Fund is currently supported by proceeds from the Silent Auction at the ASHES Annual Conference and Marketplace.

Scholarship Guidelines:
ASHES will pay the examination fee for members of the society interested in becoming a CHESP. Scholarships are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
