ASHES Award Applications/Nominations Now Open ASHES is now accepting applications for the 2010 Member Recognition Awards. We encourage you to nominate your ASHES peers, but don't hesitate to nominate yourselves as well. The ASHES Recognition Awards Program is a great opportunity to demonstrate the stellar work being done in your hospitals, departments and in your communities. The nomination and selections process for all awards will remain consistent with previous years. Please submit your nomination on or before July 23rd, 2010 for consideration. Three of the award categories will include presentation of a cashier’s check in addition to the award! Please see individual award applications for details.

ASHES members in good standing will be given the opportunity in mid August to cast their vote for the Environmental Stewardship Award. This is an unprecedented opportunity for ASHES members to recognize their peers and to participate in the selection process. Votes will be cast online and members will be given ample time to review the applications. All applicants will remain anonymous and award winners will be announced at the ASHES Annual Conference in September. More information on application review and on how to vote will be distributed as applications are posted and the voting begins.
