You must mention you are making your reservation as part of the ASHES Conference Room Block when calling the hotel. By not doing so, you may be incorrectly told that the hotel is full or quoted a different room rate.

Hotel Accommodations

ASHES contracted for rooms at a discounted group rate. ASHES assumes a financial risk by contracting with hotels for large blocks at discounted rates. If our contracted room block is not met, ASHES is financially liable for penalties. Your help in making reservations at the ASHES preferred hotel is greatly appreciated.

Reservations - Hotel Now Open!
There are only 2 ways of making hotel reservations. A maximum of 2 reservations per person or per credit card will be accepted. Individuals wanting to make hotel reservations for multiple individuals or multiple rooms at the same time must call the hotel and request authorization. Reservations Number 301-965-4000.

1. Option 1: Web  
   1. When registering for the conference, you were given a confirmation code. Your confirmation code is located in the email confirmation received after your conference registration was processed.
       
   2. Visit the appropriate link listed listed in the confirmation email delivered to you after your conference registration has been completed. 
       
   3. Follow the process and make sure you enter your confirmation number on step three (3) just prior to payment.
      NOTE: Entering the conference registration/confirmation number is a required field in order to proceed to the next step.
       
2. Option 2: Phone
   1. When registering for the conference, you were given a confirmation code - located in the email confirmation received after your conference registration was processed.  
       
   2. Call the Gaylord National Resort's reservations number at 301-965-4000.
       
   3. When asked for the code for the hotel block provide the hotel block code provided in the confirmation email after the conference registration rocess has been completed.

Attendees and Exhibitors: As part of Gaylord National Resort accepting all of the terms in the Gaylord Opryland Resort contract, the hotel rate will remain the same at $159 + resort fee + tax per night. Prices for hotel stay in the DC area are typically much higher (around $250).

Federal Government Employees: Since the DC metro area typically has a much higher federal government per diem ($229 per night), we were able to negotiate a more manageable rate for federal employees. Government employees will pay $130 + resort fee per room with Federal Government ID and tax exempt letter for the state of Maryland.
