ASHES Board of Directors Approves Industry Liaison Appointment
Chicago, May 7, 2009 — The American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES) of the American Hospital Association (AHA) today announced the appointment of Chris Kosobud, Marketing Manager, Kimberly Clark Professional as the Industry Liaison to the ASHES Board of Directors. Tina Cermignano, CHESP, president of ASHES, made the appointment.
“I am very excited Chris is joining the ASHES Board of Directors,” said Cermignano. “He brings a new and fresh prospective and a vast healthcare knowledge base to the board and the organization. I believe ASHES members and industry associates will be very pleased with Chris's leadership appointment.”
Kosobud shares equal board responsibility for setting policy and direction for the organization as well as representing the interests of the supplier, manufacturing and distributor communities on key healthcare issues and trends.
“It’s an honor to be selected as the industry liaison to the ASHES Board,” said Kosobud. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for all that ASHES does for the industry as well as their members. I am excited to become involved and provide a perspective from the supplier community.”
Kosobud will serve a three year term beginning immediately.
