Low-cost, High Quality, Online Education for Healthcare Environmental Services

Chicago, July 22, 2009 - The American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES) of the American Hospital Association today announced the availability of educational sessions for professionals in healthcare environmental services through its ASHES Live Learning Center (LLC).

The ASHES LLC provides access to over 100 educational opportunities. It synchronizes audio and PowerPoint™ presentations and makes the educational experience as easy as watching a video from the comfort of a personal computer. The web based education is available 24/7.

Customers can purchase an annual or six month pass to all of the education or simply access topic specific packages at a lower rate.  Packages start at as little as $125.00 for an annual pass for any given topic area. An all access pass will make the entire content of the LLC available for as little as $299.00 for members and $399.00 for non-members.

ASHES encourages facilities with limited educational budgets to consider these high value, low cost educational opportunities.

The sessions available at the LLC include topics like design and construction, disaster preparedness, environmental sanitation, finance, infection control, process improvement, patient satisfaction, patient transport, regulatory compliance, staff management, sustainability, textiles and linen services, and waste.
